Accessibility

The University of Lille attaches great importance to making its websites as accessible as possible. To this end, we are committed to respecting the RGAA 3.0 (General Accessibility Framework for Administrations) and have implemented navigation and reading aids on our site (contrasted version, menu keyboard accessibility, alternative font for people with dyslexia..)

Style sheets for separation of content and presentation The use of style sheets ensures the separation of the site’s formatting and its content. This maintains a coherent reading order in the structure of each page to allow effective navigation if CSS is disabled.

Navigation

  • The tab key allows sequential access to each link on the site.
  • If despite our efforts you encounter difficulties navigating our site, please don’t hesitate to let us know by email at the following address: accessibility@univ-lille.fr

Text Size

  • The size of all text is based on the use of relative units, which allows it to be modified in most browsers. This operation can be performed using the following commands: “CTRL” key and “mouse wheel” Or “CTRL” keys and “+” (increase text size) or “-” (decrease text size) Or Browser menus: View > Text Size

Menus

  • The main menu, located at the top of the page (MENU button), is permanently displayed on all pages of the site and provides access to all sections. This site navigation menu is keyboard accessible.
  • The logo on the left allows you to return to the University of Lille’s homepage
  • The site map is present at the top of each page and provides access to all sections and subsections of the site.

Colors

  • A high-contrast version of the site meeting RGAA color criteria is available.

Dyslexia

  • For people with dyslexia, we offer a substitute font allowing better reading on the site. A “Dyslexia” link is permanently available at the top of each page.

Images and Links

  • Information-bearing images, graphics, and links are explicitly named for clear description of content.

The University of Lille is a member of the University-Business Disability Convention (CHUE) which brings together 10 partner companies*.

This multi-partner convention allows our university to:

  • mobilize the necessary resources to ensure these training paths take place in a standard environment,
  • offer students with disabilities the decisive material and human assistance so they can consider higher education programs and complete them,
  • ensure close collaboration between secondary education, higher education and businesses to offer them training paths promoting their social and professional integration.

To this end, the university has undertaken an initiative to make many of its services accessible to current and future students, both in digital technology and facility accessibility, etc.

Digital services compliance in progress:
